Miami-Dade County Public Schools, in collaboration with Healthy Schools and the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County, will be conducting an influenza (FLU) prevention campaign.
The flu vaccine will be administered via nasal spray option (flu mist) which makes it easier to administer to students. A consent form was sent home on Monday, December 8th, 2014.
Students who return the signed consent form by Thursday, December 11th will receive the vaccine, free of charge, on Monday, December 15th.
